Ward Wills confidently announces himself as “your new favorite lofi producer” on his Spotify profile. With “When To Say Goodbye” the producer from Oregon has now released his second EP and could win Chillhop Records for it.
According to his announcement the six songs have a typical Lofi feel but without getting lost in the Lofi monotony. The melodies and arrangements are too varied and the drum programming too clever for that. Aso and Middle School can also be heard as guests.
The antidote to any kind of winter blues, a subtle thought that although the sun may not be shining now, it is always present somewhere.
