The German producer Funk Andrews has released his second album “Float”. After the sample-heavy debut, he wants to go new ways on “Float”.
He himself describes the sound of the 13 songs as crackling jazz loops, bumpy trap drums and futuristic synth-lines and I think he sums it up pretty well. The album lives from the very fresh synths as well as from the lively drums.
Funk Andrews manages to combine energy and relaxation in the best possible way. It feels like being full of energy after sports but you just want to relax a moment.
